Privacy Policy
The short version. Doorfill reads the listing page you already have open, fills your PDF form on your own computer, and then deletes the listing data. Property information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The only thing that crosses the network is your sign-in and subscription check.
Who we are
Doorfill ("we", "us") is a Chrome extension that fills real-estate listing forms from listing pages you are already authorized to view. This policy explains what the extension and the doorfill.com website do with data. Questions: hello@doorfill.com.
Property and listing data
When you open a listing page on your brokerage's site, Doorfill reads the property details from that page so it can fill your form. This happens entirely inside your browser.
- Listing data is held in your browser's local storage only for as long as it takes you to review it and produce the PDF.
- It is deleted automatically as soon as the filled PDF is created.
- It is never sent to our servers, never stored in a database, and never sent to any AI or third-party service.
- The completed PDF is written directly to your computer's downloads. We never receive a copy.
Blank form templates you upload (for example, your brokerage-licensed copy of a PropTx form) are stored locally on your machine and never leave it.
Account and subscription data
To verify your subscription, we do handle a small amount of account information:

The device identifier is a random value generated on your machine. It is not derived from your hardware and does not identify you personally.
Website
If you submit your email on doorfill.com, we store that address to send you product updates. The site uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
If you use the extension’s “share with colleagues” feature, the addresses you enter are used to send one referral email in your name, with you identified as the sender. We log the send (your account and the recipient address) to enforce sending limits, and we honour unsubscribe requests permanently — an address that opts out at hello@doorfill.com is never emailed again. Recipients are not added to any mailing list.
What we never do
- We never store your brokerage or MLS credentials — Doorfill uses the session you are already signed into and never sees your password.
- We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.
- We never use your listing data to train AI models.
- We never transmit property or client information off your machine.

Your choices
You can sign out from the extension panel at any time, which clears your session and license from your device. To delete your account and associated data, email hello@doorfill.com and we will remove it within 30 days. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data, including your uploaded templates.
Data retention
Property data: deleted as soon as your PDF is produced. Account data: kept while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of your request. Billing records: retained by Stripe as required by law.
Your responsibilities
Because Doorfill works with data and forms that belong to other parties, a few things remain yours:
- Access rights. You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to view the listing data you extract, and that your use complies with your brokerage's, board's, and MLS provider's own terms.
- Form licences. You supply the blank forms you use. You are responsible for holding a valid licence to use them. Doorfill does not provide, distribute, or grant any rights to real-estate association forms.
- Accuracy. Doorfill automates typing, not judgement. Review every field before you sign or submit anything. You remain responsible for the accuracy and compliance of any document you produce.
Doorfill is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OREA, PropTx, REALM, TRREB, CREA, or any real estate board or association. All trademarks and form copyrights belong to their respective owners. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify active subscribers by email.
